Elizabeth Gavin (B.A., H. Dip. Ec., H. Dip. Bioeconomy with Business) is Managing Director and Founder of Eur Digital Village consulting agency dealing with EU funding (grant applications and grant administration) and EU policy since March 2017.
Elizabeth is a member of the ACORNS programme, she has combined her love of European Policies with her passion for agriculture and sustainability to create Eur Digital Village, which helps businesses and groups access EU funding. On the national front, since setting up in business Eur Digital Village has secured over 41 million € in funding for clients across Clean Tech, Agritech, Bioeconomy and Circular Economy projects.
Following 20 years based in Brussels, working for the EU, Liz now lives in Mallow, Co Cork and she has brought home knowledge and expertise to help local and national businesses, as well as research centres, access EU funding. With contacts in development and budget departments across Europe, Liz knows how the EU system works and she coordinates with Government departments, Enterprise Ireland and the EU institutions to connect funding organisations with those in need of funding.
At Eur Digital Village, Liz walks her clients through the entire process from helping companies discover what funding is available to completing funding applications and partnering on projects once awarded if needed.
