In a bioeconomy, biological resources are renewable, sustainably managed, recovered and reused as much as possible, therefore creating new bio-based products and replacing fossil-based conventional materials,  and therefore plays an important role in helping to reduce emissions.

Our three focus areas

Agriculture

Advancing projects and new product development to reduce GHG emissions and waste

Marine

Developing bio-based products and materials from marine materials and seafood by-products

Waste to Value

Creating value added biobased products and material opportunities from by-products and waste

Now is the time for enterprises, researchers, industry and government to demonstrate their ingenuity and work together to build the economy of the future.
