Announcement of a New Project!!

In the Press: CircBioCityWaste Project

Last week, a new circular economy project, CircBioCityWaste was announced. Munster Technological University has joined forces with the University of Limerick, Technological University Dublin, clean technology company BHSL and the Circular Bioeconomy Cluster South-West on a first-of-a-kind project to transform urban biological wastes such as municipal sludge, dairy processing sludge and black bin waste into sustainable bio-based fertilizers and biochemicals for agriculture, food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical sectors.

There was significant amount of media coverage of the announcement last week across newspapers in Kerry and Ireland, including: That’s Farming, Kerry’s Eye, The Kerryman, Agriland and Farmer’s Journal.
